새로운 X4: 파운데이션 4.10 업데이트는 계획했던 것보다 더 광범위하게 이루어지는 바람에 시간이 더 소요되었습니다. 하지만 추가적인 노력이 반드시 필요하다고 느꼈고, 여러분께서 수많은 개선 사항을 좋아하실 거라 믿습니다. 예를 들어 4.10 업데이트에서는 기존의 테라포밍 요소를 향상시켰고, 4.00 업데이트의 피드백 내용에 맞춰 채광, 거래, 스테이션 관리와 관련된 여러 사항을 수정했습니다. 저희의 그래픽 엔진 에셋 관리 기능도 향상하면서 결과적으로 더 나은 그래픽 메모리 사용을 이뤘습니다. 스테이션을 건설할 때에도, 특히 유용성에 관련해서 일부 변화를 확인하실 수 있습니다. 사용자 지정 게임 시작
새로운 사용자 지정 게임 시작 요소로 X4: 파운데이션의 플레이어들이 게임 내 특정 시작 조건을 조정할 수 있으며, 제한 범위 설정으로 게임의 균형은 해치지 않습니다. 예를 들면, 시작 시 접근 가능한 주력함, 이미 알려진 섹터, 다른 세력과의 관계 등을 미리 설정할 수 있습니다. 인사이드 에고소프트 팟캐스트 에피소드 2에서 더 자세히 사용자 지정 게임 시작을 설명해드립니다.

We're almost there! Today we have released Beta 7 for the upcoming 4.10 update of X4: Foundations. You can download it now and get a first impression our latest improvements to the game.

As previously announced, we have now finished selling the X3: Farnham's Legacy Donation Pack. The donation pack gave you the opportunity to express your gratitude to our team of highly motivated community members, who spent the last five years or so working on X3: Farnham's Legacy. The game was released in May 2021, and we have received lots of great feedback from you - thank you for that!

Just to give you an idea of what you have achieved with the donation pack, we can tell you that we've rounded up the total donation sum to 5,000 euros for Médecins sans frontières / Doctors Without Borders. We've also decided to donate an additional 5,000 euros, not taken from the donation pack, to "Aachen hilft", which is a regional campaign to help those affected by the recent flood disaster here in Germany. We thank you for your support, and we are pleased that we were able to pass on a nice sum of money to some good causes.

X3: Farnham's Legacy itself will, of course, remain available, both in its original Windows version and also now as a native Linux version. We are happy to see every download, and hope you have a lot of fun during your time in the extended X3 universe, whether you are new to the series or a veteran X gamer!
